		<description>Here is a link to my entry. It is a simple config using the cairo lua rings script. It is more form over function but I think that tends to capture the essence of the holidays.

I like how when there is a new email it puts it like a present under the tree. = )

The image can be seen here:

The conky file is located here:
http://conky.pastebin.com/m408860d

The lua script can be located here:
http://conky.pastebin.com/m3358198

Keep in mind this was designed for a netbook running a 1024x600 resolution.</description>

		<description>Nov 28, 2009 - OK, here&#039;s my entry. Long story short, I made this for my wife. Nothing fancy, my regular conky with a change of the image on left to the nativity scene, by Rembrandt 1646. and all the text filling the screen. Changed my &quot;date&quot; here so the calendar would reflect December 25th.

The image can be seen here: http://conky.linux-hardcore.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/Dec_09.png

The conky file that created that image: http://conky.pastebin.com/m3afc8160

Now last but not least are my “temperature” colorize.sh scripts, and again thank you Crinos512 for this script. Simply put, download it and copy/past the script 5 times and save them as, changing the colours to match my equipments critical temps:

    * ~/conky/scripts/ColorTempMB.sh – Motherboard
    * ~/conky/scripts/ColorTempHDD.sh – Harddrive
    * ~/conky/scripts/ColorTempGPU.sh – Video Processor
    * ~/conky/scripts/ColorTempCPU.sh – CPU
    * ~/conky/scripts/ColorTempCore.sh – Core

colorize.sh is here: http://conky.linux-hardcore.com/?page_id=747

Hidden in there are other conky&#039;s that open in a window of their own when I have a need to see the information. Like weather, that can be seen at the bottom of this page which describes the building on the main conky across the top of my screen: http://conky.linux-hardcore.com/?page_id=3651

There is also a TV Schedule, Processes, and a HowLong (since/until) conky.

That&#039;s it.
Have a nice day
